Easy To View Visitors Hits Chart
Snapshot: The Snapshot is a quick look at the recent activity on your web site. The bar graph elements represent Visitors by default, and can be toggled to Page views, Hits, or Bytes transferred (bandwidth). If you have the e-Urchin e-commerce module installed, a Revenue tab will also be displayed, allowing you to view this and most other reports' information in terms of actual money spent on your site.
The Traffic Snapshot Report: The Snapshot report is a bar graph that shows you a quick, at-a-glance, day-by-day overview of the amount of activity on your web site for the past week. The (X) axis shows the days of the week, by day and date, and the (Y) axis indicates the total number for that day of whichever parameter you are viewing, e.g. visitors, pageviews, etc. The actual number for each day is displayed at the top of the bar.
How to change the data display: The default parameter on this report is set to Visitors, but it can be changed to Page views, Hits or Bytes by simply clicking the appropriate tab. There is also a Dollars tab if e-Urchin is enabled. This report is only viewable by the week. In the Date Range menu, click the double gold arrows next to Week to scroll forward or backward to compare your traffic from week to week.
Why this report is useful: You can see at a glance the patterns of traffic on your site without any numbers analysis. By comparing week to week, you can quickly and easily see if there is a usage pattern by day or if traffic during a certain day or week was impacted by something else, say a promotion, a sale or a rumor in the marketplace. Plus, no one will be intimidated by the friendly interface.
