1. Telephone consultation
In-depth 30-minute telephone consultation with business owner to develop understanding of your business, your target market, your audience's makeup and behavior, your past marketing successes/failures, top 3-5 competitors, and unique value proposition (what sets you apart from your competitors).

2. Keyword/keyphrase research and development
Online research, using specialized software
programs, to determine the best search terms (known as keywords or keyphrases) to match your site with a user's search on the search engines. These keyphrases will be used in creating your meta tags (see below) and registering your site on the search engines.

3. Meta tag creation
Writing and placement of custom meta tags (title, meta description, and meta keyword tags). These meta tags, which will appear within the code of your home page, are invisible to the user but are used by the search engines to match your site with a user's search.

4. Search engine submissions
Submission of your site to all major search engines and directories, including Google, AltaVista, and the Open Directory. (Yahoo will be included if you are a nonprofit, due to current Yahoo policy.) Together these search engines and directories provide the search results on 12 major search engines and portals, including Palm, and more than 350 Open Directory partner sites.

We register your home page on 3 major search databases that will return to your site every 2-7 days and
re-index it. That way, if your home page content changes, search engine users will see the most up-to-date page. The 3 search databases in this plan provide the search results on 2 dozen major search engines and portals.

6. Yahoo Directory registration
We will register your site in the Yahoo Directory for one year. Inclusion in the Yahoo Directory is important for two reasons: (1) Yahoo is still the 800-pound gorilla of search engines, and (2) a link to your site from the Yahoo Directory raises your "link popularity" – a factor used by other search engines, particularly Google, in determining how high your site will be ranked in their search results. An "inbound" link from Yahoo to your site is considered a quality link by Google and other major search engines, and therefore these search engines will rank you higher as a result.

With the Premium Plan:

We will research and register your site on all free industry-related directories and databases (for example, legal directories and search databases for law firms, accountants, management consultants, construction firms, etc.). We will also provide you with a list of high-quality fee-based industry directories, together with their fees, giving you the option of purchasing additional listings in relevant industry directories.

With the Premium PLUS Plan:

Includes listing purchase, copy writing, and logo processing. Your listing can appear in online yellow pages and city guides that are searched by 30 million ready-to-buy consumers every month.

E-MAIL / NEWSLETTER / BANNER CAMPAIGN MARKETING – $125.00 per hour.

LINK-BUILDING CAMPAIGN – Day rate $785.00
